Seoul
Seoul is the capital and largest metropolis of South Korea. It is located on the Han River (Han-gang) in the northwestern part of the country, some 37 miles (60 km) inland from the Yellow Sea (west).
Suwon
Suwon is the capital and largest city of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea's most populous province which surrounds Seoul. Suwon a satellite town of Seoul, 26 miles (42 km) to the north, with which it is connected by rail and highway.
Daejeon
Daejeon is South Korea's fifth-largest metropolis, located between Seoul and Daegu. It is known both for its technology and research institutions, and for celebrating its natural environment with most mountains.
Daegu
Daegu is a city in South Korea located 80 km (50 mi) from the seacoast near the Geumho River. It is the third-largest urban agglomeration in South Korea and has a number of scenic attractions such as Palgongsan and the Apsan mountains.
Busan
Officially known as Busan Metropolitan City, is South Korea's second most populous city. It is the economic, cultural and educational center of southeastern South Korea, with its port being Korea's busiest and the sixth-busiest in the world.
